Prediction FAQ

How matchday picks, BCC pools, and on-chain receipts work — and why culture wins together.

What is a STACK XI prediction?

You pick which team wins an upcoming match (home or away), stake BCC culture token on Base, and receive an on-chain receipt. Your pick is public proof you called the match before kickoff — culture over solo grind.

How does BCC staking work?

Connect a Base wallet, choose a stake tier (or a sponsored free pick if eligible), and confirm one transaction. BCC moves into the prediction pool contract tied to that match ID. You can share your receipt on X, Farcaster, or Telegram after you submit.

Why is it win-win?

Winners share the culture pool when the match settles — more correct picks mean a bigger slice of BCC for believers who read the game right. Stakes from losing picks stay in the ecosystem and fund matchday growth, treasury ops, and future culture rewards. Everyone keeps an on-chain receipt and can flex their call socially, so participation builds reputation even when your team loses.

When can I predict?

Markets stay open until kickoff (final whistle starts the lock). After kickoff, that match window closes and the next open fixture becomes active. Check the predict section for countdown timers.

How do claims work?

When a match result is settled (admin or match-ops agent), winners can request a payout from their profile. Verified picks against the settled result qualify for BCC from the pool. Always verify contract addresses before signing.

Sponsored predictions

Eligible builders who link X and Farcaster may qualify for a treasury-sponsored stake on select matchdays — you still get the on-chain receipt, with culture covering the BCC stake up to the campaign limit.

Risks

Predictions and token stakes involve financial risk. BCC price can move. This is culture and entertainment — not investment advice. Only stake what you can afford to lose.
